Frank Adarkwa works as a transportation planner with the Capitol Region Council of Governments (CRCOG). He joined CRCOG in 2019 and his responsibilities includes transit planning, congestion management, freight planning, scenario planning and Title IV related issues. Prior to joining CRCOG, Frank had worked with Connecticut Transit (CTtransit) as a transportation planner where he was involved in service planning and operations of the transit system.
Frank holds a doctoral degree in Urban Planning and Public Policy from the University of Texas at Arlington, a Master of Arts degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the Minnesota State University, Mankato. In 2001 he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Spatial Planning from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). Frank was born and raised in the culturally rich country of Ghana, and his hobbies include watching boxing, playing soccer, reading (mostly African history), and cooking.
