David Wohlwill is the Program Manager of Long-Range Planning at the Port Authority of Allegheny County in Pittsburgh. He has managed project and corridor planning and environmental studies, including the First Avenue Light Rail Transit Station, Stage II Light Rail Transit system, Eastern Corridor Transit studies, North Shore Connector and the Downtown – Uptown – Oakland – East End BRT project. David has developed grant applications seeking state and federal funding for capital projects, including electric buses.
Prior to working at Port Authority, David worked for the New York State Department of Transportation in Albany performing planning and programming for the Buffalo, Hudson Valley and New York City areas.
David has a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies and Political Science from the University of California – Santa Barbara and a Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
